The short version

The Peptide Observer is a set of static files. It has no accounts, no login, no comments, no forms, no newsletter, no shopping basket and no advertising network. It asks for no personal information, and there is nowhere on it to enter any.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics product, no advertising pixel, no session recorder, no heatmap, no A/B testing tool and no third-party tag of any kind. It loads no fonts, scripts or images from another domain, so no third party learns that a page here was opened. The only code the pages carry is structured data for search engines, which executes nothing.

What the host sees

The files are served from Cloudflare's network. Like any host, it processes the technical request data it needs to serve a page and to protect the service from abuse, which includes the requesting IP address, the time, the page requested and the browser string the browser sends. That processing is the hosting provider’s, under its own terms, and it is not combined here with anything else, not used to build a profile, and not sold or shared.

No sale, no sharing, no profiling

No personal data gathered from readers is collected, stored, sold, rented, shared or transferred by this site, because none is gathered. There is no mailing list, no reader database, no retargeting audience and no data broker relationship.

Following a link away

Pages link out to the public databases and registers they cite. Opening one of those links leaves thepeptideobserver.com, and what happens next is governed by the privacy terms of the site that was opened, not by this notice.

Readers under 18

The site is not directed at children, is not written for anyone under 18, and knowingly collects nothing from anyone of any age.

Changes to this notice

If the site ever starts to collect anything from readers, or adds a form, an analytics product or a third-party tag, this notice changes before that happens, and the change is stated here rather than made quietly.
